On 2 June, an official presentation of the Rainbow Awards nominations will take place at one of the foreign diplomatic missions. During this event, this year’s nominations and their candidates will be introduced. It is an opportunity to recognise people, organisations and initiatives that contribute to strengthening equality, inclusion and human rights.
Participation is by invitation only.

“Rainbow Families: Towards Legal, Social and Institutional Equality”
The international conference will bring together experts, policymakers and community representatives from the Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as Ukraine, to discuss differences and common challenges in the legal, social and institutional status of rainbow families. The event will analyse how legal inequality, fragmented parental recognition, heteronormative education and healthcare systems, stigmatisation and lack of data affect families’ safety, daily experiences and well-being. The conference will also aim to identify regional needs, strengthen international cooperation and formulate evidence-based recommendations to ensure sustainable, inclusive and child-friendly policies across the region.

On 6 June, the city will fill with colour and good energy — the March for Equality will take place. This march, open to everyone, unites the LGBT+ community and its allies to support equal rights, LGBT+ visibility and safety. Participants are invited to walk together for respect, diversity and a safe environment for all. The March for Equality will serve as a vivid reminder that true equality is created by all of us together.

The route of the March for Equality will lead to Kalnų Park, where an open-air concert will take place. The stage will feature pop performers from Lithuania and abroad, including the energetic Spanish electro-pop duo Nebulossa. The concert will be the festival’s culmination, inviting everyone to celebrate unity and equality together.

The Rainbow Awards Ceremony will be a special highlight of the concert. The awards will honour people, organisations and initiatives that have significantly contributed to improving LGBT+ visibility, equality and safety. Awards for this year’s progress will be presented on the main stage in Kalnų Park.
This year, awards will be given in the following categories:
- The Community Star Award
- The Workplace Equality Champion Award
- The Drag AwardThe Ally Award
- The Best Pride Float Award
Each of the first four categories will have three nominees. They will be announced on 2 June at the Rainbow Awards nomination presentation event.

Organize a Pride House event
On 2-8 June, 2025, LGL is organizing the Baltic Pride festival, which will
include Pride House – a space for cultural, social and educational events
focused on community building. We want the program to be as diverse as
possible and for the events to be relevant to young queer people, so we
are looking for individuals and/or organizations willing to contribute to
this initiative. At this stage, we do not limit the formats or topics of
events, as long as the event is related to queer identities or experiences.
The space and time that are available to us is limited, so it might be that
we will not be able to organize your event this time. If your event is
accepted into the Pride House program, we will let you know through the
means of contact that you provide.
Pride House events are free and unpaid.

Queer & Kinky Social | PRIDE WEEK EDITION

This is not a party! LIMITS creates a monthly social space for queer meetups. Here, the LGBT+ community comes together, and latex and lipstick, flirt and fetishes, laughter and desire
intertwine. And it’s all for everyone, just as they are.
Pride Week is not only a time to be seen but also a time to meet, connect, and embrace those who love and feel through their bodies. This social night is extra special: it’s festive, kinky, and truly queer. And we’ll tell you about the programme soon.
At the socials there’s no script, no pressure: dress up if you want, undress if you want. Maybe you want to chat, or maybe you just want to hang out, meet new people, and listen to music. All ways of being together with the community are welcome – the most important thing is feeling like yourself. This space is made for that. We’re welcoming all queer people – both newbies and old friends. New connections, bonds, and sometimes even a bit of magic are waiting to happen here.

Doors open at 8:00 PM, the event ends around midnight.
Entry is free, but at the door, we may ask a few questions to ensure the event stays safe and exclusive to the LGBT+ community.
